The waterstop hot melt welding machine is composed of two parts: a mold and a control box. The mold is equipped with an electric heating element connected to the control box. The interface shape of the mold is adapted to the heated element. There is a temperature measurement facility in the middle of the mold to mix the film. Similar to the vulcanized rubber material at the joint of the waterstop, the vulcanizing agent in the large mixed rubber sheet diffuses to the joint interface and cross-links with the remaining double bonds of the vulcanized rubber to form a co-vulcanized system, making the joints integrated and pressurized. Operation points
Waterstop connection Waterstop installers must check the length of the waterstop before invert concrete construction examine. The length of the waterstop must be greater than the invert of the section. If the length is insufficient, extend the waterstop to facilitate connection for the next waterstop installation.
How to use the hot melt welding machine
Cut and align the two waterstop joints.

If there are defects, the defective parts should be repaired immediately. Hot melt vulcanized rubber is used for repair.
Waterstop straightening: Use a special straightening fixture to straighten the waterstop within the length of this construction. The special straightening fixture is composed of two pieces of angle steel and a type clamp.
When setting out the waterstop position, the construction surveyor used red paint to draw the ⊙ symbol as a mark on the side wall at the end of the invert. And inform the waterstop installer in writing the positional relationship between the waterstop and ⊙.
Installation and positioning of the waterstop: When the invert concrete is poured close to the bottom of the waterstop, fix the waterstop and straightening clamps on the invert steel bars and formwork. The fixing method uses iron wire to tighten the clamps on the aluminum alloy fixture, the invert steel bars and the formwork so that the waterstop does not shift during the concrete pouring process.
Concrete within the buried height range of the waterstop for concrete pouring should be poured symmetrically on both sides of the waterstop. Only in this way will the waterstop not be offset. When tamping concrete, tamping should be done symmetrically on both sides of the waterstop and gradually move forward. It is prohibited to tamp one side first and then the other side.
Removal of the straightening clamp The waterstop straightening clamp can be removed only one hour after the concrete pouring is completed. When dismantling the straightening clamp, first cut the wire, then loosen the bolt of the clamp, and finally take out the angle steel.
